Bronwyn is a registered Occupational Therapist with over a decade of experience providing mental health services to clients within Manitoba. She has extensive formal training in group facilitation and individual therapy. Over her career she has worked with youth and adults in both inpatient and outpatient/community settings. Her areas of expertise include working with individuals who struggle with coping skills, mood disorders, anxiety disorders and borderline personality disorder.
Individual Therapy Sessions are tailored to the unique needs and goals of the client. In her sessions, Bronwyn is guided by the principle that everyone is doing the best they can and has the ability and innate desire to improve. She focuses on helping clients develop skills to engage more effectively and build a greater sense of meaning and mastery.
In addition to her Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy, she has formal training in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy through Behaviour Tech, Co-occurring Disorder training through the Addictions Foundation of Manitoba and has completed the Psychiatric Vocational Rehabilitation Program through Boston University. Along with her clinical work, Bronwyn has been published in the journal Occupational Therapy in Mental Health for her research. She is a member of the Manitoba Society of Occupational Therapists, Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists and World Federation of Occupational Therapists. She is a past president of the Manitoba Society of Occupational Therapists.
